2024年，第33屆夏季奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)（Games of the XXXIII Olympiad）將于法國舉辦，巴黎將成為繼倫敦后第二個(gè)至少舉辦三次夏季奧運(yùn)會(huì)的城市。
The 2024 Summer Olympics are officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad. Having played host in 1900 and 1924, 2024 will see Paris become the second city to host the Olympics three times, after London.
適逢巴黎奧運(yùn)會(huì)開幕倒計(jì)時(shí)兩周年，巴黎奧組委于25日公布了2024年巴黎奧運(yùn)會(huì)與殘奧會(huì)的口號(hào)“Ouvrons Grand Les Jeux”，翻譯成英文是“Games Wide Open”，中文則是“奧運(yùn)更開放”。
With two years to go from the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, organizers on Monday revealed "Ouvrons Grand Les Jeux", meaning "Games Wide Open", as the shared slogan for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
巴黎奧組委在官方聲明中表示：
"It is an invitation to the world to come and experience new emotions together. Our Games are the commitments of new experiences and big thrills," the organizers said.
“這是一份向全世界發(fā)出的邀請(qǐng)，來共同體驗(yàn)這次全新的激情，巴黎奧運(yùn)會(huì)注定將帶來振奮人心的新體驗(yàn)。”
對(duì)于這句口號(hào)的含義，巴黎奧組委主席埃斯坦蓋（Tony Estanguet）解讀道：
"It’s a power. The power to open our hearts and minds, to stop seeing differences as obstacles. It is also a dream, a dream shared by everyone who is building these Games. It is a collective ambition, to open the Games, to showcase to the world the best of France especially its boldness, its creativity and innovative spirit that makes up our country's identity."
